EAR-IT: New potential for innovative smart environment applications
The EAR-IT survey is looking for your insights on further exploitation of innovative solutions for acoustic sensing in smart cities and smart buildings. The Spanish city of Santander is using sound traffic monitoring and detection of the sound of a siren to manage traffic-lights. In the Italian city of Geneva, sound is used in an office building for energy efficiency and for event detection like people screaming for help. These cases demonstrate the potential of using “sounds”. The survey is an opportunity to present innovative ideas that can be tested through use cases. The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete. Leave your contact details so EAR-IT can request more information for future collaboration opportunities.
