net-Xperiment future - FIRE lighting the way

The latest issue of net-Xperiment future features a selection of FIRE facility projects, experimentation projects, pilot and demonstration projects and FIRE-related international projects. The intention is to give examples of experimentation successfully undertaken in FIRE. It opens with a glimpse into future challenges and aspirations, Europe's vision for 2020 and beyond.
FIRE facilities evolve in a demand-driven way, through Open Calls and the new mechanism of open access, an opportunity to use the experimental facilities for free beyond the originally planned lifetime of the respective projects.
